After the first edition in 2018, Siemens Italy is going to start a new edition of the employer and recruitment project Siemens Digital Academy to attract new talents from Engineering Universities in Italy.
The Academy will give to the students the opportunity to have a first approach to the world of industries, working on real project works, under the supervision of managers and experts. On the other hand, Siemens have the opportunity to meet students at last year of university, potential talents, people who could make a difference in the future of the company.
The kick-off of the project is planned for March 17th, when 100 new graduate students of the Politecnico Milan, Padua and Bologna Universities will meet Siemens managers in a dedicated matching event. Afterwards, 30 talents will be selected to take part in the Digital Academy with 8 training sessions, and several projects works to develop by the end of the program. Siemens guarantees to hire 10 talents at least.
The project, as well the previous edition, has been designed and implemented by Smartive, in partnership with Proper Del Mare Consulting. It aims at several purposes:
Attracting new people in the talent competition of the Digital market, where Siemens is operating (Industry 4.0) and facing to the skills shortage on the ICT
Facilitating the contamination with the millennials, a key factor for accelerating the Digital Transformation and the adoption of new ways of working in the company
